The Numbered Notes Solution
Using NumbersNumbers offer several strong advantages over lettered notation. 1. They are universally recognizable symbols that almost everyone around the world can identify from a young age. 2. They are sequential allowing for counting, so that one can navigate intervals by counting half steps. 3. They allow advanced analysis of theory. |

Staff DesignNumbered Notes also uses a "12 Note Staff". It has an "octave number" that precedes the staff and is designed to hold groups of 12. Each staff has 4 lines assigned 3 notes arranged: under, on or above the line. Notes are placed in the same location providing a uniform progression in every octave range. Using numbers on the "12 Note Staff" eliminates the need for both "Key-Signatures" and "Accidentals" making it much easier to learn, read and play music. |
